Η Ελληνική Ολυμπιακή Επιτροπή, η Διεθνής Ολυμπιακή Ακαδημία, το Ολυμπιακό Μουσείο, ο Δήμος Θεσσαλονίκης, ο Δήμος Καλαμαριάς, η Ένωση Συμμετασχόντων σε Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες, ο ΕΑΣ ΣΕΓΑΣ ΘΕΣ/ΝΙΚΗΣ, το Περιφερειακό Ταμείο Ανάπτυξης, το Εμπορικό και Βιομηχανικό Επιμελητήριο και το ΔΚΟ ”OLYMPiA” προκηρύσσουν και διοργανώνουν αγώνες δρόμου Ημιμαραθώνιο, 10.000m, 5.000m, 1.500m με τους παρακάτω όρους:

2. RACE INFORMATION

2.1. HALF MARATHON RACE

Start & Finish point:

Επί της Μεγάλου Αλεξάνδρου  στο ύψος του γλυπτού ‘’ΟΜΠΡΕΛΕΣ’’

Starting Time: 17:45

Route Description:

Αφετηρία επί της Λεωφ. Μ. Αλεξάνδρου με πορεία Νότια, είσοδος στην οδό Μαρίας Κάλλας, δεξιά στην οδό Θεμ. Σοφούλη, Νικ. Πλαστήρα (Καλαμαριά), αναστροφή στο ύψος της οδού Μιαούλη και επιστροφή σε αντίθετη κατεύθυνση,  οδός Κερασούντος, αριστερά στην οδό Τάκη Οικονομίδη, αριστερά στην οδό Καθ. Ρωσσίδου, συνέχεια στην οδό Μαρίας Κάλλας και έπειτα στη Λεωφ. Μ. Αλεξάνδρου με κατεύθυνση προς το γλυπτό “ΟΜΠΡΕΛΕΣ”, δεξιά στην οδό 3^rd Septemvriou street, then on M. Andronikou, Tsimiski, Polytechniou streets, left on 26^rd Octovriou Street, making a U-turn at the height of Georgiou Andreou street, continue on Karatasou street, N. Kountouriotou street and Nikis Avenue heading towards White Tower, continuing on 30^rd Octovriou street, to finish at the height of the "UMBRELLAS" sculpture.

2.2. 10.000 m RACE

Route Description:

Αφετηρία επί της Λεωφ. Μ. Αλεξάνδρου με πορεία Νότια, αναστροφή επί της οδού Γ. Παπανδρέου στο ύψος της διασταύρωσης με την οδό Μαρίας Κάλλας, συνέχεια σε αντίθετη διαδρομή  στην Λεωφ. Μ. Αλεξάνδρου με κατεύθυνση προς το γλυπτό  “ΟΜΠΡΕΛΕΣ”, δεξιά στην 3ης Σεπτεμβρίου, οδό Μ. Ανδρόνικου, Τσιμισκή, Πολυτεχνείου, αριστερά (αναστροφή) στην οδό Καρατάσου, οδό Ν. Κουντουριώτου, Λεωφ. Νίκης με κατεύθυνση τον Λευκό Πύργο, 30^rd Octovriou street, to finish at the height of the "UMBRELLAS" sculpture.

2.3. 5.000 m RACE

Route Description:

Αφετηρία επί της Λεωφ. Μ. Αλεξάνδρου με πορεία Νότια, αναστροφή επί της οδού Μεγ. Αλεξάνδρου 50 m προ του ύψους της οδού Καλλιδοπούλου, συνέχεια σε αντίθετη διαδρομή  στην Λεωφ. Μ. Αλεξάνδρου με κατεύθυνση προς το γλυπτό  “ΟΜΠΡΕΛΕΣ”, δεξιά στην 3ης Σεπτεμβρίου, οδό Μ. Ανδρόνικου, Τσιμισκή, αρισυερα στην οδό Αγίας Σοφίας, αριστερα στην οδό Λεωφ. Νίκης με κατεύθυνση τον Λευκό Πύργο, 30^rd Octovriou street, to finish at the height of the "UMBRELLAS" sculpture.

2.4. Social Impact Race-Walking: 1.500 m RACE

Start point:

Aristotelous Square

Finish point: On Alexander the Great Avenue at the height of the “UMBRELLAS” sculpture

Route Description:

Starting point on Nikis Avenue at the height of Aristotelous Square heading towards White Tower, 30^rd Octovriou street, to finish at the height of the "UMBRELLAS" sculpture.

3. PARTICIPATION

To take part in the 7^th Olympic Day Runand specifically in the:

• Half Marathon runner must be 18^oyears old or over
• 1hour and 50 minutes for the runner must be 18^oyears old or over
• Race 5 for the runner must be 12^oyears old or over

In the Social Impact Race-walking 1.5 for the, runners of all ages can participate.

For the participation of underage runners, registering individually, it is mandatory to submit a formal Declaration of Consent signed by either the parent or legal guardian. The person registered as“Participation Responsible”has the parental responsibility of minors.

In case of group participation regarding schools, high schools, associations, sport clubs etc. the person registered as  “Group Responsible”is having full responsibility of the minors on all issues including their safety. For the delivery of the race equipment, the registered “Group Responsible” shall deliver for all minors the formal declarations of consent completed by their parents or legal guardians, as well as his/her authorization to act as “Group Responsible”. An official list shall be submitted, too, naming all underage runners representing an institution (school, sport-club etc.).

5.REGISTRATION

5.1 REGISTRATION TYPE

Registrations are divided into:

Α.   INDIVIDUAL ADULT

Β.   INDIVIDUAL UNDERAGE

In the case of underage runners, the registered“Participation Responsible”» ασκεί τη γονική μέριμνα αυτών. Με τη συγκατάθεσή του, ο «Υπεύθυνος εγγραφής» συναινεί στη συμμετοχή των παιδιών του στον αγώνα και συμφωνεί με το περιεχόμενο της παραπάνω δήλωσης.

C.   STUDENT/MILITARY – REDUCED For students and individuals doing their military service, it is mandatory to show their student or military identification cards, which ones shall be in force on the date of the event. The identification card is required for the delivery of the race equipment.

D.   GROUP

Available for a group of 10 and over wishing to participate in the same race. The group-type registration refers to sport clubs, runners’ clubs, gyms, companies, private and public organizations, as well as to individuals wishing to participate as a group. The group may consist of either adult or underage runners, or be a mixed one. The age-limit of the runners is defined by the rules applying for each race. The person registered as “Group Responsible” represents the group in all communication with the organizers and receives the groups’ race equipment by displaying his/her identification card.

The person registered as “Group Responsible” must submit:

1) the declarations of consent signed by the parents or legal guardians of the underage runners (one form for each underage runner),

2) his/her authorization to act as "Group Responsible", as well as,

3) the status of the participants with an official document of the institution,

at the secretariat of the Registration Center during the delivery of the race equipment.

The person registered as “Group Responsible” is the one having full responsibility of the minors on all issues, including their safety.

E. SCHOOL PARTICIPATION 1.5for the

Students of primary schools and high-schools participate free-of-charge in the match of 1.5km under the condition that they are registered as a group by their school via e–email and be approved by the organizer. The School Group race-package consists of the race medal, the International Olympic Day Certificate, which is issued by the Hellenic and International Olympic Committees, water, juice and medical services. Registration is required even in the case of schools wherein participation is free-of-charge.

The person registered as “Group Responsible” represents the group in all communication with the organizers and receives the groups’ race equipment by displaying his/her identification card.

The person registered as “Group Responsible” must submit:

1) the declarations of consent signed by the parents or legal guardians of the underage runners (one form for each underage runner),

2) his/her authorization to act as "Group Responsible", as well as,

3) an official participants’ list issued by the school,

at the secretariat of the Registration Center during the delivery of the race equipment.

The person registered as “Group Responsible” is the one having full responsibility of the minors on all issues, including their safety.

F. ΕΓΓΡΑΦΕΣ  ΟΜΑΔΩΝ ΣΤΟΝ  ΑΓΩΝΑ  ΔΡΟΜΟΥ ΚΟΙΝΩΝΙΚΗΣ ΕΥΑΙΣΘΗΤΟΠΟΙΗΣΗΣ Ημιμαραθωνίου, 5 & 10for the.

Οι δρομείς προσφέρουν με την εγγραφή τους το ποσό των 4€, το οποίο θα αποδοθεί από την Οργανωτική Επιτροπή σε Φορείς Κοινωνικής Ευθύνης για ευαίσθητες ομάδες, που θα ανακοινωθούν στην ιστοσελίδα olympicdayrun.gr

Οι ομάδες που θα συμμετάσχουν στον Αγώνα Δρόμου Κοινωνικής Ευαισθητοποίησης δύναται να είναι μικτές (ανήλικοι και ενήλικες).  Ο δηλωθείς “Group Responsible” is also designated as the group's representative for communication with the organizers and is responsible for receiving the equipment by showing his Identity Card. When receiving the equipment, he must present to the secretariat of the Registration Center, the declarations of consent signed by the parents/guardians of all minor runners with their consent regarding the children's participation in the race, as well as an official participants’ list by the organization. The person registered as “Group Responsible” is the one having full responsibility of the minors on all issues, including their safety.

The participation of primary schools and high-schools - exclusively in the 1,5 km, is FREE, provided that the registration is done as a group through the school unit and after direct contact with the organizer at olympicdaygr@gmail.com. Participation includes a commemorative medal, a printed certificate of participation in the Global Celebration of the International Olympic Day by the Greek and International Olympic Committees, water, juice and medical services.

ATTENTION

Refunds – Cancellation Policy: Cancellation is possible for registrations done up until Sunday September 8th, 2024 with a cancellation fee of 3.5 euro incurring. For registrations taking place from Monday September 9th, 2024 and onwards, there will not be refunds. Service invoices are issued only upon timely request and require payment of VAT according the Greek law.

7. DISTINCTIONS - AWARDS

7.1 Distinctions – Awards

All runners finishing the Half Marathon, 10 for the,  5 for the,  1,5 for the Races, will receive a commemorative medal, a certificate of participation in the Global Celebration of the International Olympic Day by the International Olympic Committee, as well as, rewards for the winners. Winners are considered the first three (3) registered runners, women and men respectively, to finish in the Αγώνες Ημιμαραθωνίου,  10 for the, 5 for the & 1,5 for the Races, the first three (3) registered girls and boys between the age of 12 to 18, to finish in the Races 5 for the & 1,5 for the Racesand the distinguished runners in Men's and Women's categories of the following age groups: 36-50 years, 51-65 years & 66 years and over.

Ηλεκτρονικό Πιστοποιητικό Συμμετοχής:

Οι συμμετέχοντες που θα τερματίσουν στον αγώνα δρόμου της επιλογής τους, θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να τυπώσουν το Ηλεκτρονικό Πιστοποιητικό Συμμετοχής τους, μέσω της ειδικής εφαρμογής της διαδικτυακής Πύλης της Διοργάνωσης www.olympicdayrun.gr.

 7.2 Special Awards

Upon decision of the Organizing Committee, special awards will be granted to the following categories:

• Mass Participation (most populous group participation)
• Mass Participation (sports and cultural associations)
• Mass Participation (primary schools–high schools)
• The Oldest and Youngest runner

8. MEDICAL SERVICES

All runners participate at their own risk. Race organizers are not to be held responsible for any medical condition, which may occur during the course or after the race. It is recommended that runners do medical screening tests prior to the race. Adult runners participate on their own sole initiative and responsibility, while underage runners on their parent’s or legal guardian’s responsibility and formal consent, having done all the necessary medical screenings and cardiac controls. For the race, all safety and public health measures for the protection of public-health, as set by the National Public Health Organization and other health authorities, will be taken. Detailed information will be given to all registered participants regarding every aspect of the event, its regulations and the procedures to be followed in accordance to the health protocols of the NPHO, in power at the time of the event.

During the course of the event, medical and First Aid personnel will be located at the starting and finishing lines of the races, as well as in other selected spots of the race-route to deal with any medical emergency.

9. TECHNICAL GUIDELINES

SUPPORT STATIONS

Εμφιαλωμένο νερό θα διατίθεται στην εκκίνηση, στον τερματισμό καθώς και ανά 2,5χλμ. μετά το 5ο χλμ.

Chemical toilets will be available at the start – finish points as well as at the power supply stations. 

Ιατρική Υποστήριξη θα υπάρχει στην αφετηρία  στον τερματισμό, καθώς και σε όλο το μήκος της διαδρομής.

Isotonic drinks will be available to participants at the Isotonic as well as every 5km after the 10th km.

Along the Half Marathon route there will be support stations from the 5th km. Along the route and from the 5th km onwards - and every 5km - there will be an opportunity to provide personal drinks and supplements from persons accompanying the participants.

KILOMETER MARKERS

There will be kilometer markers at every kilometer of the race.

FINISHING TIME LIMIT

– 3 hours for the είναι  οι τρείς (3) ώρες.

– 1hour and 50 minutesfor the είναι  η 1ώρα και 50λεπτά.

– 5for the είναι  η 1ώρα.

– 20 minutes for the είναι τα 20λεπτά.

ELECTRONIC TIME CONTROL

Την ηλεκτρονική χρονομέτρηση του 7ου Olympic Day Run έχει αναλάβει εταιρία επίσημης χρονομέτρησης. Όλοι οι δρομείς πρέπει να φορούν τον αριθμό συμμετοχής με το ενσωματωμένο chip χρονομέτρησης που θα παραλάβουν από το Κέντρο Εγγραφών. Τάπητες ηλεκτρονικού ελέγχου και χρονομέτρησης για την καταγραφή των χρόνων θα υπάρχουν στην εκκίνηση και στον τερματισμό και σε σημεία της διαδρομής. Δρομείς χωρίς ηλεκτρονική ένδειξη δεν θα κατατάσσονται.
